Billing that looks like your firm
Where invoicing is switched on, Compass by WattReach sends invoices, estimates and recurring plans in your firm's own design, paid by card or bank transfer into the firm's own Stripe account. Separately, each client's file records the fee agreed on each matter, the payments recorded against it and what is still owed. Payments recorded by hand are marked trust or operating, and LawPay links, where set up, can deposit into either account.

How it connects to the rest of Compass
Invoices live in Compass's billing screens, with their own list of the clients you bill. A payment taken at the consultation can be recorded on the lead, the matter's fee and payments sit on the client file, and the Monday report shows each attorney's leads, quotes and retained clients.
Questions
Can clients pay online through Compass?
Yes, clients can pay a Compass by WattReach invoice online by card or bank transfer where invoicing is switched on, or pay through a LawPay link where it is set up. Invoice payments go into the firm's own Stripe account.
Does Compass do trust accounting?
No, Compass by WattReach marks payments recorded by hand as trust or operating, and LawPay links can deposit into either account, but it does not keep client trust ledgers or reconcile the trust account. Your trust ledger stays in your accounting software.
Does Compass track billable hours?
Compass by WattReach records hours and expenses entered by hand for an invoicing client, at the rate you set, and carries them onto that client's next invoice. It has no running timer.
Can invoices go out in Spanish?
Yes, each Compass by WattReach invoice goes out in English or Spanish, in your firm's own design.
Does Compass connect to QuickBooks?
No, Compass by WattReach does not connect to QuickBooks directly. It exports invoices and payments as CSV files for your bookkeeper.
